Welcome to Business Network Albania (“BNA,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using our platform (app.bna.al), you agree to comply with these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Use of the Platform

• BNA is a networking platform for Albanian entrepreneurs, investors, and executives.
• Users must be at least 18 years old.
• A platform member is not a member of the General Assembly of Business Network Albania and does not hold voting or decision-making rights within the organization.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree NOT to:
  • Use the platform for unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, or misleading activities.
  • Engage in any activity that violates applicable laws or BNA policies.

2. Data Protection & Confidentiality

• Strict Prohibition on Data Misuse:
  Users are strictly forbidden from extracting, exporting, copying, sharing, or leaking any member information outside the BNA platform for:
  • Harmful purposes.
  • Commercial resale or distribution to third parties, communities, or organizations.
  • Any activity that violates BNA policies or applicable law.
• Monitoring & Enforcement:
  BNA reserves the right to monitor user activity through system logs and tracking tools. Any violation will result in immediate account termination, legal action, and potential reporting to law enforcement authorities.

3. Intellectual Property & Content Distribution

• All BNA content, including posts, resources, and materials, is the exclusive property of BNA unless otherwise stated.
• Users may not:
  • Distribute, copy, or share BNA content to external websites, organizations, or platforms without prior written consent.
  • Use BNA content for commercial purposes or in a way that harms BNA’s reputation or operations.

4. User Content

• You retain ownership of your content but grant BNA a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute it within the platform.
• You may not post harmful, offensive, defamatory, or misleading content.
• BNA reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Terms.

5. Communication & Messaging

• The platform allows users to connect and message each other for professional purposes only.
• Prohibited Activities:
  Spamming, harassment, solicitation, or any form of abusive communication is strictly prohibited.

6. Compliance & Enforcement

• Violations of these Terms may result in:
  • Immediate suspension or termination of your account.
  • Permanent ban from the organisation.
  • Legal action under Albanian law, including civil and criminal liability.

7. Legal Consequences & Penalties

• Under Law No. 124/2024 on Personal Data Protection, breaches involving personal data misuse can result in:
  • Fines up toL or 2% of global annual turnover for specific violations.
  • Fines up to or 4% of global annual turnover for severe violations, including unauthorized data sharing, resale, or breaches of user rights.
• BNA will cooperate with the Albanian Data Protection Commissioner and law enforcement for prosecution of offenders.

8. Limitation of Liability

• BNA is not responsible for interactions or disputes between users.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

9. Changes to Terms

• BNA reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
